Black Friday Is Over

Well, another Black Friday has came and went. The store I work in handled it pretty well this year. There was not to much chaos. It didn't seem that we were as busy and crazy as last year. Probably, this was due to the fact that last year the Wii and PS3 were new to the market. We did have a huge crowd waiting to get inside this morning. Some had been there since noon on Thursday and were sporting tents. If I wouldn't have been working, I don't think I would have even got out of the house today. I'm not one for standing in line. Black Friday marks the beginning of most of the holiday shopping. Now, that it's over it's time to clean up the mess and gear up for the season. xP

Website down time

My website is down this weekend. I can't access the server. I hope the problem gets fixed soon. I just got phpBB 3.0 the rc 7 version and haven't even had a chance to look at it. On another note, I went to orientation yesterday for my job. I really missed working at BB this summer. It's going to be fun to be back. Not too much going on around here these days. I have noticed over the last couple weeks the temperature is starting to get cooler....sigh. Winter is coming. I am proud to report that the new puppies have been placed with good homes. It was sad to see them go, but I am glad to give them to people who can provide love and attention. That's about it for now. Talk to you again soon.

Back to Work for the Holidays

Hey all! I just got word that I am going back to work for Best Buy this holiday season. Yay! I start in about two weeks. I'm really looking forward to working with everyone again and I love the job. The discount rocks too. xP As soon as something full time comes up, I want to put my name in for it. So, it's time to start thinking about Christmas again. Jeez, seems like last week we were getting out the decorations and planning last years Christmas. I don't mind. I love Christmas. We have a lot of indoor and outdoor decorations and it's really fun to get them all out and set them up. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to be for Halloween. Ha! Ha! I'm not planning on going to a party. Just taking my son out. So, the hag costume that I already have will probably do. That's about it for now. I'll post again soon.

Must Be Flu Season

Hey everyone! Just dropping in to say hi. I've got the flu. Isn't it funny how people seem to all get sick at the same time? I have a few internet friends that are sick or have just gotten over being sick and we don't live anywhere close to each other. So far it hasn't been too bad, just chills and congestion. I hope it passes quickly and my kids don't all get it. Well, I'll post more when I'm feeling better. Take care and stay well.

Saturday mornings

I love Saturday mornings! No one has to get up. Days like this are meant for projects that you have been putting off. Mine is clearing out some brush in the back yard. When I do decide to get up and get productive today, I am heading outdoors. The weather isn't too hot and the work is waiting for me. My and my husbands goal is to clear out all the weeds and some of the trees to make a picnic area in the far end of our property. I think it will be nice when it's finished. But it's in the early stages of development right now. As far as a puppy update, they are moving a little more. We've started bringing them out into the living room to let them learn to use their legs. Here's a couple new pictures.

Rainy Day

It's raining, finally! We've been needing it so bad. Rainy days always make me sleepy. I'm glad I don't have anything to do today. I think I might just curl up with a good book and enjoy the sound of the distant thunder rolling. All the puppies are doing well. I'm hoping that soon they'll have their eyes open. I'll post more pictures when they do. Well, the county fair is this week. We took the kids Wednesday night. I have to say it was disappointing. How's come each year the fair seems to cost more and offer less? We pretty much walked the whole thing 3 times over by 7:30 and decided to go home instead of hanging around and spending more money on cotton candy and drinks at about 8:00. I remember when I was a kid wanting to be the last one out of the park. But even my 9 year old was ready to go. How sad.

My second female dog has just had her pups. Whew! It's been a busy summer. Hopefully she will be better at mothering than Zoe was. I don't think I can take eight more weeks of bottle feeding.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I've been very busy setting up a new gaming website. Check it out. http://www.gamesnation.ucc-hq.org . It's not finished but the forum is functional. Along with that my 2nd girl dog just had her puppies! Whew! I can't wait to see them walking around but wow! They're a handful! Well, I'm off. I'll post more tomorrow and add some pics of the pups!

School starts next week for the kids

All I can say is Yay!!! I have three bored kids in the house that have been cooped up all summer and now they are ready to go back. My oldest is a senior this year. (When did that happen?) The beginning of school has always got me started thinking about Halloween. I know it's still a little ways off but still. This year I think I'm going to really get into decorating. I'd like to do some graves out front. But I want something that everyone else isn't doing. I've got some time left to plan. So, we'll see how it comes out. I also will probably have a wifi party in my Animal Crossing WW town so I will be collecting patterns and decorating there too. If anyone knows of a good place to get Halloween patterns for AC:WW just let me know. When the time comes I'll post some pictures of my real yard and WW yard for everyone to check out. Well, it's been a long hot summer. Everything growning in the yard has died accept for the weeds it seems. I'll be glad to see fall come. The best part of fall coming is I will be able to stand it out in the yard for more than five minutes. I'm really sick of these 98 degree days. I know some people would think that's not hot but when you add the humidity in the air that we've had lately it's been unbearable.
